In the Comedy Writer’s Workshop taught by John Webber, the approach to sketch writing is simple: we collaborate. Everyone works to make everything work. You will get weekly writing assignments and will go over them as you would in a writer's room. The mood in the class is non-competitive and the only criticism you receive will be constructive. You have a comic voice, and this class is going to bring it out, fine-tune it and put it to work in the classes and in your material. Everyone will work hard and have a lot of fun. The goal to build confidence that will keep you writing down your funny ideas forever. The class will have a staged reading of selected scenes following it’s completion. Information or registration can be obtained by contacting John directly at hellojohnwebber@gmail.com. Class size is limited. Cost for the 6 week series is $120.00.
